The items on this menu are merely suggestions to help you guide your treatment. For more specific information about conditions we treat, please see What We Treat or Performing Arts Medicine.
- You may ask for these treatments by name.
- You may mix and match treatments (for no extra charge).
- Additions and substitutions are always welcome (for no extra charge).
- You may seek treatment for health concerns that are not on this menu.
- No extra charges for treatment ever!
Remember, YOU decide how much you’d like to pay within our $15-$40 range. You pay one price for receiving treatment at an appointment, regardless of the health conditions we are treating.
Length of treatment is up to you. Your body will know when you’re “done”. At that time, simply open your eyes & make eye contact with the practitioner to let her know it’s time to end your treatment.
Each of these treatment options can relieve and prevent your signs & symptoms by getting to the root of the problem to resolve the symptoms and avoid a recurrence.

Since we offer treatment in a group setting, we ask that you stay home when you have a cold or flu, and anytime you have a fever or cough. Your body needs for you to rest, stay warm, and drink plenty of fluids like water, ginger tea, or echinacea tea.
Chinese medicine, including acupuncture, can greatly reduce the symptoms, severity, and/or duration of cold or flu. One of the beauties of Chinese medicine is that it doesn’t mask or cover symptoms. It frees your body of the pathogen that caused your illness so that symptoms disappear naturally. There are ways to benefit from Chinese medicine at home when you have a cold or flu. There are acupressure points for cough, congestion, sore throat, and more. There are very effective natural Chinese herbal pills. There is a therapeutic technique called “gua sha” that is easy to do. In the future, this website will have details about these home therapies, so please check back!
Immune system support. The best way to combat respiratory issues is prevention. Respiratory conditions attack when our immune systems are weak. Acupuncture can strengthen your immune system to prevent allergy or asthma attacks, colds, and flu. If you have seasonal allergies, it’s best to get acupuncture for several weeks before your allergy triggers are present. The same goes for colds and flu – getting acupuncture before and during cold and flu seasons can prevent catching a virus or greatly reduce symptoms and duration.
